Where to Stay in Seminyak: Dash Bali Hotel

Every part of Bali seems to be a different city. Canggu is only 20 minutes away from Seminyak and both regions have nice beaches, a good commerce and services infrastructure, but we lived two different kinds of experience on each of them. So, besides choosing from 2 to 3 different cities to stay in Bali, the second tip to book a hotel there, is to prioritize the areas below Ubud. Ubud stays basically in the center of the island, north to the capital Denpasar, and it’s considered Bali’s cultural heart. We don’t recommend to stay in the north of Bali, since most attractions and the best beaches stay in the south. And like I said earlier, you take much time going from one place to another.

Seminyak is located on the west coast of the southern region of Bali, and it is the most sophisticated beach resort area in the island. Seminyak is a very modern part of Bali, surrounded by boutique shopping streets and fine-dining restaurants. Besides, the region is full of beach clubs, spas and wonderful hotels. If you’re looking for something to do between sunbathing sessions, you’ll find a good selection of distractions in Seminyak.

People also go to Seminyak for its tasteful nightlife. Besides, the region is focused on beach clubs, where you can have a drink with your feet in the sand while appreciate the amazing sunset. And the hotel we chose to stay, Dash Hotel Bali, stays only five minutes away from Potato Head, one of the most famous beach clubs in the island, where many people join together everyday to admire the sunset. We stayed in @dashbali and we loved.

Dash Hotel has 2 restaurants, spa, 2 swimming pools (a rooftop pool and a pool in the lower deck), 2 panoramic lifts, a rooftop bar, gym and a parking car. One of the pools is red, so it seems you are swimming in a Red Sea. It’s perfect! Never seen that before! Surely you will love Dash Bali as we did!

Dash Hotel is a boutique hotel in the heart of Seminyak, only 5 minutes away from the beach and from Potato Head, the famous beach club. The hotel stays around 15 minutes from the restaurant Ku De Ta, with easy access to many stores, pharmacies, souvenirs shops, good restaurants and easy access to the rest of Bali. We went by walking from the hotel to the wonderful italian restaurant Tempted Restaurant & Lounge. The place is amazing and we loved! The food is delicious and the owner of the place is an authentic italian who lives in Bali.

We loved Seminyak and staying in Dash Bali Hotel you can easily go to the beach and visit famous beach clubs and night clubs like Potato Head, Ku de Ta and La Favela Bali. The location on Dash Hotel couldn’t be more perfect!

Dash Hotel Seminyak has 5 kind of rooms, all of them are very stylish and extremely comfortable. They are: Dash Studio Graffiti Room, Dash Studio Room City View, Dash Deluxe Room City View, Dash Deluxe Room Pool View and Dash Two Bedrooms. We stayed in a Dash Deluxe City View Room and we loved. We had a perfect night of sleep there. All suites of Dash Hotel are inspired in a fun and modern decoration, with an unique artistic style and with custom iron furnishings, graffiti artwork and retro industrial chic light fixtures. All kind of room has decorative pieces scattered all over on the walls and floor, with an unique contemporary style.

Dash Studio Room is a 32sqm suite with balcony and a King Size bed (or two Twin beds) with 400 thread count cotton linens, equipped with a 32 inch flat screen wall mounted TV, free Wi-Fi, minibar, tea and coffee making facilities, air conditioning and room safe. Besides, the bathroom features a rain shower, bath and body amenities kimonos and slippers.

Dash Deluxe Suite combines glam and grit, where the iron headboards reinforce the industrial ambiance, with solid wood beds. It is a 48sqm room with balcony, King Bed with 400 thread count cotton linens, minibar, tea and coffee making facilities, room safe, free Wi-Fi and a 40 inch flat screen wall mounted TV. The bathroom features a bath tub and also a rain shower, besides bath and body products, kimonos and slippers.

Dash Two is a stylish suite with an industrial design, creating a social hotel living space. It is a 96sqm apartment, including a large King Bedroom with a suite bathroom, adjoining living area with lounge, dining area with pantry, and a Twin Bedroom with separate bathroom. The master bedroom and living room both have 40 inch flat screen TV’s, and the twin has a 32 inch flat screen TV.

All rooms of Dash Hotel Bali are spacious, comfortable and luxury. Check out below some more pictures of our suite. We loved everything about it and we strongly recommend this hotel.

Dash Seminyak is not just a regular hotel. There, you are very well welcomed and we felt totally at home. We also had complimentary bottle of water in our room.

Besides being beautiful, fun, comfortable, cozy and well located, others features of Dash Hotel include its gastronomy and its fancy restaurants, the concierge service and the possibility to book tours and airport pickup, gym, rooftop bar, spa, meeting room, laundry service and two swimming pools.

The breakfast is really great, very complete and very well served. It was one of the best we’ve had in all Asia. You can choose among many things in the Menu, including breads, cereals, jams, fruits, croisants, yogurts, coffee, juices, teas, acai bowl and much more. Everything is fresh and of excellent quality.
